I seeya Ikea....

Saturday found us lost in Ikea, wandering around ghetto Portland looking for a peek-a-boo farm to get Harry's goat milk, and chatting about children, life and soccer and how it crosses so many cultural boundaries with our friends, the Bonds. Great conversation, good friends, good food = Gardner's Euphoria! I love days like today. I even got a beautiful run in the mist this morning to round it all out. I also just got a 9:00 p.m. drop in call from the Bishopric "Can you teach Sunday School to the 15 year olds?" Obviously these men are not familiar with my public speaking issuses stemming from the Relief Society mishap lesson of '05. (I mean really, who hasn't heard about THAT!) But I can laugh and I have a ton to learn so.........in the words of Kirsten Dunst......."BRING IT ON."

Okay, so you're going to have to re-tell the Relief Society lesson story for me. I've probably heard it, but I can't remember. Love you!

Sounds like I'll have to hear the infamous RS Lesson story during your next Utah Visit. I love a good Public Speaking disaster! :)

Somehow I must have managed to miss the hearing about your R.S. I'm sure I wasn't present because I was in Primary in '05. But I'm dying to hear about it especially since I have public speaking issues myself.
