We picked the apples in our backyard. They are of the "I have no clue" variety, it a pleasant sour green color - care for some?! I don't know what to do with them, but it was something fun to do with the kids.
Picked apples..
...and found a lady bug...
...and chased the lady bug....
...and interrogated the lady bug...

and talked about the ladybug.

What was that nursery rhyme:
Ladybug, Ladybug
Fly away home
Your house is on fire
and your children all gone
all except 1 and that's Ann
for She crept under the frying pan.
If you have heard this nursery rhyme and have any idea what it could possible be about, please share it. It has always been a puzzle to me.

Don't know about the nursery rhyme, but do know those are the cutest kids! AND those apples need to be on one of Mary's famous Thanksgiving apple pies! LY!
Wow, those apples look great!! You should pick up the October edition of Woman's Day Magazine. They have a ton of yummy apple recipes. There is an apple raspberry crisp recipe I am dying to try. Cute pics!
Have I mentioned how stinkin' cute your kids are?!!! And by the way, you seriously crack me up! I miss you guys!
That IS a weird nursery rhyme now that you mention it. BUT sounds like you're loving Oregon and I'm thinking of you guys since I'm in rainy Seattle today! Take Care!
