Graduation...

Please pardon the shout out, but this is something to shout about. Kent graduated today with his Master's degree in Business. I am trying not to dote on him too much, but I can't help it. I am so proud.

I cannot describe how grateful I am to have such a wonderful husband. I know that all knowledge and light comes from my Heavenly Father. And the knowledge and education Kent gained at this school has, as he put it "changed the way I look at the world." The Lord has such a soft way of directing our thoughts to where they need to be.

While going through this program, there was alot of long hours, heartache, papers, tears, gratitude, words, laughter (how crazy can life actually get?), and tender mercies. It was a bumpy ride sometimes, but our motto became "Enjoy the Journey." We knew there had to be a way to enjoy the bumps on the road or the scenery along the trail, without constantly focusing on the next trailmarker (when will we be done?!!). That was our secret to making it through this, enjoying the perfect scenery along the road.

Kenty, my love, you are a truly amazing man. I love your fair-minded kindness, your liberal trains of thoughts, your quiet ways, your perfect smile, your unassuming friendly manner to all regardless of circumstance, and your sincere patient parenting. I know you will go far in whatever occupation you choose, because of your purity of heart, endless enthusiasm and relationship with the Lord. I love you dearly, my love, for eternity. Congratulations!

Lucy...

I cannot imagine.

Losing a child would probably put me in a dark room, rocking back and forth a lot. Molly and Vic, you are so strong.

Lucy was as vibrant and lively as children come, with enough spunk to fill up a room full of adults. Quite literally, her spirit was bigger than her body. We love you Lucy, we cherish every memory of your smile. Take care of your parents, soar for us, and make the sunshine. Until we meet again, dear one.

Molly and Vic, we are here for you, happy to help however we can. When you stop having to remind yourselves to breath in and out, when the ache in your arms begins to subside, when other people say it's getting easier, we know and understand the truth. That the pain never goes away. We are happy to hold you anytime. "Long live queen Lucy!"

Parallelagram

Scene: Driving down the street to our new residence... my mother's. Bella spies something familiar and says.

Bella: "Mom, look it's a parallelagram."

Mom: "Ummm, what's a parallelagram?"

Bella: "Mom, it when the sides are like this and the top and bottom are like this."

Mom: "Oh"

See, I really wasn't kidding when I said she was smarter then me.

Disneyworld

I am just watching fireworks here, nothing earth shattering, though it looks like I am comtemplating the eternities. I love cuddling my sleeping babies.

The highlight of our Disney vacation was the princess dinner. It was here that Bella had all of her favorite princesses come around to her table and talk to her. She ate it up. It was so great.

We had a perfect view of the Epcot fireworks.

Cuddly cousins.

Thanks Grandma. That was so much fun. The memories of watching those fireworks over the castle and telling my sweet baby girl that all of her dreams can come true was a moment, I will never forget.

A month....

The last month has been a magnificent whirlwind of activity and blessings. So let me catch you up with pictures.

We went to the children's museum with Bella's best friend, Lily. The museum is Bella's favorite place ever. Whenever she finds or earns money she says "I am going to save it to go to the Museum."

Bella's favorite is the grocery store. Bella & Lily

Next....we moved!

That's right. 2 days before moving day, we called an "audible." Some friends in our ward said "Hey, come live in our basement!" So here we are. We love it, love it, love it. It's a great home until we know where the next chapter in our lives will take us. Kent is working at the U.

And last but not least, our little angel boy turned one year old. That's right, it was one year ago that I honestly thought that my pregnancy would be more akin to that of an elephant's gestation. But he FINALLY came and completed our home. I love you, my sweet boy, with all my heart.
Here are some pictures from his birthday party.

Happy 1st, Harrison!

There was no cake diving for this proper gentleman. He barely even touched it.

Mommy and me.

Our friends, John and Suzette gave Harry this cute monkey. He named him "Dat" - give or take.

All smiles!

Harry got a tiger for his birthday.

Okay, how cute is that face? He rocked back and forth, back and forth for a long time.

And of course, the two have to ride off into the sunset on a tiger together. Bella thinks that Harry is her prince and there is no convincing her otherwise. Here is Snow White and Prince Harrison.
